Please enter your letter of recommendation in the text area provided below: I am writing to express my sincere support for the Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) and its programs provided for blind and visually impaired individuals of all ages and abilities. With the unwavering positivity and steadfast leadership of NWABA’s Founder, President & CEO, Billy Henry, it is not surprising that this organization has continued to grow with every year since being first introduced back in 2020. Over the last four years, I have been involved with NWABA as an Area Leadership Council member, a volunteer, and a donor. I believe that the Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) should be considered for the Dr. Jacob Bolotin Award because this organization continues to pour its time and energy into transforming the lives of this community through sports education and physical activity. This organization continues to provide sports opportunities to those often left behind when it comes to physical activities, break down barriers faced by this underserved population, and advocate for the uncapped potential of blind and low vision individuals. I highly recommend NWABA for this unique recognition and look forward to witnessing the future accomplishments of NWABA as they near two decades of transformational work throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
